Life on Tour. Lessons for the Journey.
Hi, I’m Fali Damania.
For more than 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of standing behind some of the world’s biggest stages, helping artists connect with audiences through great sound. My career has taken me across more than 90 countries, mixing concerts in arenas, stadiums, festivals, theatres and intimate venues, working as both a Front of House and Monitor Engineer.
I’ve been fortunate to work with artists including **Luis Miguel, David Lee Roth, Diljit Dosanjh, A.R. Rahman, Trey Songz, Megadeth, The Cult, A Perfect Circle** and many more throughout my career. Every tour, every venue and every performance has taught me something new—not just about sound, but about people, travel and life itself.
But this website isn’t just about live sound.
**FaliOnTour** is about everything the road has taught me.
After spending decades living out of suitcases, crossing continents and navigating airports more often than my own driveway, I’ve realised that touring isn’t simply a job—it’s a lifestyle. It’s early flights, late nights, incredible friendships, unforgettable cities, constant learning and the challenge of staying healthy and balanced while life is always moving.
This blog is where I share those experiences.
You’ll find stories from behind the scenes of the live music industry, practical advice for touring professionals, travel guides, health and fitness tips for life on the road, productivity ideas, stress-management techniques and reflections on the lessons that only years of travel can teach.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that success isn’t built solely on technical knowledge. The best engineers, technicians and crew members are also great communicators, reliable teammates and lifelong students. Technology changes every year, but professionalism, kindness and curiosity never go out of style.
I’m also passionate about education. Throughout my career I’ve conducted webinars, participated in interviews and contributed articles on live sound, wireless technology and professional audio, always with the goal of sharing knowledge and helping others grow in this industry.
Outside of audio, I’m deeply interested in travel, photography, fitness, nutrition and personal development. Years on the road have taught me that taking care of your body and mind is just as important as taking care of your mix.
Whether you’re an audio engineer, musician, traveller, student or simply someone who enjoys reading about life behind the scenes, I hope you’ll find something here that inspires you, teaches you something new or simply makes you smile.
Thanks for stopping by.
I hope our journeys cross somewhere along the road.
